A Room with a View to remember

Legodimong Bed and Breakfast has views which are memorable. No-one visits without a comment on the city below us and the stunning outlook.

Here are some of the comments:

We could not have anticipated how lovely our experience would be here! The view was amazing, the service outstanding, and most importantly, our hosts were delightful to get to know. We know where we will stay when we return, and we look forward to it.

Speechless! An amazing oasis. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Love, love, loved staying here! It was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality!

Absolutely stunning people and view!

In Heaven

Legodimong means "in heaven" - and we are! With the unexpected quiet so close to the city, we have views from west to east that take the breath away.

In this tranquil place so close to heaven, one can easily get to most places in Pretoria. Kruin Park is on our southern side and the city vistas are below us looking north. Along what used to be called Walker Street, now Justice Mahomed, one has uncomplicated links to the east and west.

Yesterday evening we sat out at the pool deck and marveled at the light of the sun casting its last-gasp glow on the buildings. And we were awed.

Look who's come to stay at Legodimong!

In September this year Charlie Brown came to live at 528 Kruin Street. He is a beautiful young Golden Retriever, well-trained and loves our company. He's large and strong and takes us for regular walks - fortunately with the nature reserve behind us, there are lots of good walks nearby. We've enrolled him at dog training, and he's teaching us how to walk him properly. With such friendly guidance, he's bound to have us well-trained in no time.

Welcome to Legodimong!

Welcome to Legodimong!

One of the first things you'll notice when you arrive at Legodimong is the garden.

At the moment, this Phalaenopsis is in our entrance hall, towering above the ornaments on the table.

Mark grows plants of all shapes and sizes.

Our garden is a mass of colour all through the year.

    Flowers at Legodimong in June

Our cymbidiums are in full bloom again - a glorious sight!

This is my first blog of 2012, a tad late in the year. Apologies. We've had UNISA guests, ZuidAfrikaans Hospital and LCM guests, and guests from most of our neighbouring states this year - interesting and busy. UNISA courses bring many to Pretoria and being a 15 min walk away, Legodimong is a great place to stay.
Legodimong is our home and our 3 guest rooms are all downstairs. Our views from both upstairs and downstairs are fabulous. Our rooms are uncluttered and comfortable with all you will need during your stay. We hope that it is soon!

Happy Christmas to all our guests! May this Christmas be one to remember and may you know the peace and joy which we celebrate at this special time of the year. We pray that 2012 dawns to bring you health, sufficient wealth and many good times with the people you love. We hope we see you again in 2012!
